I'm co-founder and Executive Director of Kawaakibi Foundation , a MENA-centered human rights organisation. We work on creative initiatives that make a meaningful long-term difference to the global struggle for human rights and dignity.

I'm also a strategic advisor at the [Albert Einstein Institution](https://aeinstein.org/). My book, The Middle East Crisis Factory , is about our region's past, how the vicious cycle of terrorism, tyranny and foreign intervention was born, and how we can build a better future.
